Iron Distance races take many months to prepare for and on the big day can either go well or not so well.  Why not make things a bit easier on yourself and take on the challenge of completing the distances over a number of days.  All this build up will put you in a great position to support and appreciate what the athletes are doing on the big day.

Typical, but flexible agenda

Every morning, 6.5km steady run around the Civray loop

Two steady group rides, starting in the morning, of 90km

Two 2km swim at Bellabouche lake

10km along local roads and trails

 

Completing all of the sessions or having proof of covering the distance will earn you a limited edition Civray Gites 'Do the Distance' T-shirt and bragging rights with all your friends.  Do the distance weeks are currently set for

Ciel - one double bedroom upstairs, sofa bed downstairs.  Two bathrooms, one up one down - £320

Tournesol - one double bedroom upstairs, sofa bed downstairs.  Two bathrooms, one up one down - £300

Petite Maison - Two double bedrooms with en-suites - £340

Apartment - 2 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, sofa bed, shared bathroom - £340

If all accommodation is taken by one group the total price for all reduces to £1100
